Nah, I don't mind it now I'm used to it. Hardly even notice it.

On the other vista v xp conversation though, it really doesn't matter what OS you have as long as the game is compatible with both. Bioshock alone shows that a game can be played and still look great on many differing OS's, with only very minimal Dx10 and Dx9 difference. I do believe that anything further, whether it be an expansion or GW2 should start to move with the times, graphically. GW still looks great, but using new technologies to their full advantage would just mean it could be so much greater.

No more expansions. GW:EN had too little content and was a disappointment. Just focus on making GW2 a success.

It'd be nice to have something new half way till GW2 release.

I'd probably buy it anyway.

No, i think they should focus on GW2, and have a great Beta in 2008.
The sooner the beta the better, it's not like it's the real game right? I just want something new to play.

What do you think? Should they make another one, or should we all just wait until 7 months from now when gw2 comes out?
Third Question:
What do you think they should add in the next expansion? (new classes, more skills, more items, more insignias, what?)

Here are my views for starters:
1. I dunno if they're thinking about it or if they've decided and it's final.
2. I really do think they should make another one, at least make a new skill set and cost about 15-20 dollars for a few hundred more skills. (It's not that much considering the number of classes and the number of skills already out there.)
3. I'd like to see some new classes, a bunch more skills and skill updates (undo some of those more stupid less intellectual nerfs), some more items mods and armor upgrades, also some new continent expansions and more continents added in. Possibly more PvP stuff to keep that interesting (I'm a brawl supporter, why do you think I like Ab?).

Thank you for your opinion, (since I've seen people do this before) no bumps or flames plz and don't insult people in the forum (unless it's me since I can get back at you )

Were are you getting 7 months??????
like 3 months ago anet sayed 2009 thats 2 years considering they will prolly release it twords christmas
I doubt it will be done by than and will prolly get pushed back to early 2010

Seriously?? Are we playing the same game. Yes, I agree the armors and weapons are just for vanity, but Guildwars is oozing with greedy players! Farming and Powerselling come to mind.

i think he means people arent greedy for item powering. unlike most MMOs, you arent gear dependant, and everything "maxed" comes pretty naturally.

No. Simply said. The game was perfect when it was only chapter one. Should of just added afew higher level stuff to that.

I don't know what it is, GW really bores me now, but still something about the game makes it the first thing I click on whenever I see my desktop.

Should Anet make GW: Grindhouse for PvE?

Honestly? if it was just prophecies, i'd have quit just after factions had been released, I'd gotten bored of it then, but even then including betas i'd been playing for a year and a half

I would definitely not be playing anymore if there weren't other chapters to have kept me amused. I hate doing low lvl prophecies quests now, there's too much repetition of the same area since you can't get quests for the same area until you've already finished a quest. Prophecies is good for new players, but imagine if for the last 2ish years you had NOTHING to play but that. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that we would have got bored about a year ago...

Would you be content if Super Mario Bros. game sequel just had more content but the same graphics and gameplay?

I want more Guild Wars, but I don't want to frustrate ArenaNet programmers. They obviously felt they can make a better game if they completely overhauled it. Sometimes its good to step away from an old way of doing things, if you can do it much better in entirely different process.

GW2 is going to be a much better game.

Why do all of you think everything should be free? Must be a bunch of kids that have not realized yet that you have to work and pay to have nice things nothing worth anything is free.

Well that kind of got screwed when they said "Hey look we're making dungeons ain't it cool?" and then reused whole friggin rooms from other dungeons. I know I've seen the Cathedral of Flames in other dungeons. Ooze pit is replicated as well. I bet someone knows the area I'm talking about too, columns in a corridor with water and torchlight. Yeah seen that on multiple occasions. Arachni's Haunt and Ooze pit and Vloxen excavations all use that exact same corridor. That's just lazy. I'd rather they just focus their energy on making GW2 good rather than trying to piss on the grave of a once good game.
I think the game got better as it went on not worse (until EoTN). I liked Factions better than Prophecies and Nightfall better than Factions...then GWEN cam out and I don't care for it too much but hey 3/4 aint bad. I think they need to get GW2 out asap but make a level cap for crying out loud..if we want to play WoW and Evercrack we will play them!!
